January, 2008: Pat was interviewed in the Washington Post Magazine; read a transcript of the call-in show where listeners had the opportunity to speak to Pat and have concerns addressed. 

May, 2009: In conjunction with Pat’s visit to wounded US soldiers in Germany, he generated the idea of an adventure for  these heroes.  See a press release that appeared in the Salt Lake City news.

Spring 2013: Patrick Rummerfield was an honored recipient of the Viscardi Award.    The Viscardi Center today announced the recipients of a new international Award designed to identify and honor people living with disabilities for their work and influence on the global disability community of more than one billion people. July 24, 2014: Architecture student who broke her back prepares to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro; speaks of how she was motivated by Patrick Rummerfield.

July, 2015: Patrick encourages Megan Silcott, of Maryland, in her recovery!  One of Megan’s rewards:  a high speed ride in a racing Corvette at the Bob Bondurant Driving School with Patrick.    Read about Megan ‘s story and her amazing progress.

April 17, 2022:   Patrick is again moving towards a goal to publicize the need for support and research to help student athletes who have been disabled due to injury.  The organization Patrick is associated with is Missouri Kids. (missourikids.org). Visit their website to learn about this worthy cause.  Patrick was interviewed by KSDK’s Frank Cusumano.
